Areas of Support
-
Client-directed document-support for couples who have already reached agreement on their major decisions. HPS may help organize information, prepare approved document packets from client instructions, and provide general procedural information based on publicly available court materials. HPS does not provide legal advice, negotiate for either person, or represent anyone in court.
-
HPS offers structured, client-directed document-support for wills, powers of attorney, health-care documents, and related estate-planning materials. The process helps organize your information and document choices clearly. Some requests may require independent attorney consultation before HPS can provide or continue document-support services.
-
HPS may provide client-directed document-production and organizational support for certain Family Court forms and related materials, subject to an HPS scope review. HPS does not advise clients what position to take, provide legal strategy, negotiate for either person, or represent anyone in court.
Pricing Philosophy
My pricing is transparent, structured, and respectful of your time and resources.
I use flat rates whenever possible, and every project begins with a clear explanation of the process, timeline, and total cost.
You pay for the defined HPS service described in your written agreement, with transparent flat-fee pricing whenever possible and no hidden HPS service charges.
For more complex matters, I break the work into clear stages, so you always know what you’re paying for and why.
Payment plans may be available for eligible HPS services.
Government filing fees, court fees, recording fees, service-of-process charges, postage, travel, notary charges, and other third-party costs are separate unless a written HPS service agreement specifically states otherwise.
How to Get Started
New and returning client requests begin with a brief online intake. This helps HPS understand what you are seeking, identify any time-sensitive concerns, and prepare for the appropriate next step.
Complete the New or Returning Client Intake: Tell HPS what is happening, what support you are seeking, and whether you have relevant documents, notices, court dates, hearings, deadlines, or other urgent concerns.
HPS Reviews Your Intake: HPS reviews the information you provide to determine whether a Detailed Consultation & Service Review, additional information, or another resource may be appropriate.
Receive Consultation Scheduling Information: When appropriate, HPS will send you the information needed to schedule a Detailed Consultation & Service Review.
Attend Your Detailed Consultation: During the consultation, HPS will discuss your request, relevant documents, available nonlegal service options, and any additional information needed.
Confirm the Next Step: If HPS can offer an appropriate service, you will receive a written service agreement, fee information, and a tailored checklist. Active HPS clients may receive secure MyCase access for approved document uploads and communications.

Yes. Many services can be split into structured payments through Square or LawPay, depending on the type of work.
-
Bring or email any notices, court papers, letters, drafts, identification, or other documents related to your request. You do not need to have everything organized before the consultation. The intake and consultation process will help identify what information you may still need to provide.
-
HPS can discuss its non-legal document support process and help clients locate, organize, and prepare materials based on their instructions and publicly available information. HPS cannot tell a client what legal choice to make, interpret the law for the client’s circumstances, recommend legal strategy, or predict a court outcome.
-
Timelines vary by matter, but I provide a clear estimate after reviewing your situation. I work efficiently and keep communication structured so you always know where things stand.
-
If a request appears to require legal advice, legal representation, advocacy, or another service outside HPS’s nonlegal scope, HPS may provide non-exclusive information about independent attorneys or other community resources. You may choose any attorney or service provider. No attorney-client relationship exists unless you separately retain an attorney through that attorney’s own engagement process.
-
Identify any deadline, hearing, court date, filing date, response date, or other urgent concern in the online intake. HPS will review the information before confirming the appropriate next step. Do not rely on submitting an intake or scheduling a consultation to meet a deadline or for legal representation.
